A Critique of the Current Feminist Views and an Explanation of their Implications
Author(s):
Abstract:
The humiliating treatment of women and downgrading them to being the second sex isan indisputable belief long held by men, which dates far back to a long time ago. Theinjustices undergone by women constitute the most traditional and grossest injusticespracticed throughout the history of mankind. Undoubtedly, neither the advocate of"women's rights'' is necessarily feminist, nor is the ''criticizer of feminism'' an opposerof women's rights. However, additionally, the important job of defending womenshuman status and their rights should not be deemed equal to a feministic treatment. Anypathological study or critique of a thought doesn’t imply necessarily the rejection of theoptimistic implications of the thought itself. Having examined the multiple feministicapproaches and viewpoints, this article studies the implications resulted from the adventof this way of thinking.
