The comparison of medical therapy and cognitivebehaviormedical therapy on the memory positive bias of bipolar patients in Isfahan city

The aim of this research was to compare the effects of two kinds of therapy two kind oftherapy, medical therapy, cognitivebehviormedical therapy on memory positive bias ofbipolar patients. 100 bipolar patiens that had not taken any therapies, and were in depression phase, were choosen. 3 groups in a simple random way were choosen, with 15 persons in each group. The first group was control, the second group took just medical therapy and the third group took cognitivebehaviormedical therapy. Results of the analysis covariance showed that the mean of memory positive bias bipolare patients in cognitivebehviermedical therapy group was significantly more than that of medicl therapy group (p<0/01).The results also showed that memory positive bias of bipolar patients in medical therapy and cognitivebehviermedical therapy was significantly more than that of thecontrol group (p<0/01).
