Effect of management stability and quality of performance among secondary school principals from the viewpoints of teachers

The purpose of this research was to investigate the effect of management stability on quality of school principals functions viewpoints of teachers of secondary schools. Descriptive-correlation method was used for the study. Statistical population for the study included all superintendents of secondary schools in Eslamshahr. Classified random sampling was used to select the sample population and 90 teachers were selected based on Morgan & Jessie tables. Three high schools teachers were also requested to respond to the questionnaire. The instrument was a researcher design questionnaire including 68 items that explained 5 elements (Human Relation-Educational Affaires- Financed matters-Administrative-Assessment) as factors to show managers performance, measured with 5 degree Likert Scales. Validity of the instrument was approved by review of the advisors of the project and reliability was measured by use of Cronbach alpha that showed 0.97. Data gathered was analyzed by use of such central tendency indicators as Frequency – Mean –Standard deviation as well as inferential statistics as Unman whitney test by spss software. The results of this research revealed that there were meaningful relationships between the management stability and quality of performance among school managers in terms of educational affairs, administrative and assessment. However, there was found no meaningful relationship between management stability of managers and quality of their functions in terms of human affairs.
