The Relationship between Information Literacy and Entrepreneurship Capabilities among Isfahan University Graduate Students.

Abstract:
The purpose of this research was to determine the relationship between information literacy and entrepreneurship capabilities among students attending graduate programs at Isfahan University. A descriptive-correlational research method was used. Statistical population consisted of all second-year students in M.A,M.S and doctoral programs of Isfahan University during 2008-2009 academic year. A Statistical sample of 160 students was chosen through proportionate classified random sampling method. The research tools included two researcher- made inventories (information literacy questionnaire consisting of 35 items and entrepreneurship questionnaire consisting of 39 items) which were designed based on Likerts scale.The findings indicated a significant and positive relation between information literacy and entrepreneurship capabilities of the students(r= 0.685). The result of regression analysis indicated that entrepreneurship capabilities had the highest correlation with the critical evaluation of information (r=0.578) and the lowest relations with purposeful use of information (r= 0.495).
