Formation and Basis of Contemporary Translation Movement

The present study aims to focus on three aspects: first- diagnosing the contemporary scientific translation movement (first century to third). Second- study and analyses of translation process from word scientific texts. Third- studying the factors of developing and promoting translation movement. The method sued in present research in library study method. The paper has a glance at cultural and scientific situation of Arabian age of ignorance and scientific centers of early Islam are studied. The article discusses about some of the translators and some translated texts and the way and method of their translation. At the end of the paper، the author of the article introduces and discusses the basis and backgrounds of scientific translation formation and effective factors in developing translation movement. Islam has a positive approach toward sciences based on intuitive، experimental and visionary knowledge even if they were a production of non-religious civilizations and cultures، due to islamic knowledge bases and islamic word view. Sciences such as philosophy، logic، medicine، astronomy، mathematician، music and literature from scientific fields like iranian، indian، syria c، near east and Alexandria were translated into arabic.
