An Analytical Approach To Development Ratio In North Khorasan Province And Its Status In The Country

Welfare and development are the main aims of all planning systems. Before compilation of systematic principles of development, it is necessary to know about potentials, physical and human ones. On the other hand, it is important to know about limits, difficulties and deficiencies. We witness the increasing development in countries in present era and it is necessary to know development status in national and regional scales. This paper has determined development ratio in Provinces of the country emphasizing North Khorasan using Taxonomy, Mooris and Standard scors models. The results show development status of Provinces of the country has been promoted in last decade and North Khorasan obtained rank 26 among 30 Provinces based Mooris and standard scores models and its rank has been 28 based on Taxonomy method. So this Province is under developed and deprived.
