Report of a Case of Radiation Retinopathy Following Esthesioneuroblastoma

Retinopathy caused by radiation therapy has been frequently reported following treatment of lesions around the eye and orbit as well as inside the brain. In this paper, we report a female 51-year-old case of radiation retinopathy following Esthesioneuroblastoma. She was experiencing loss of vision, considering retinopathy due to radiation after angiography. Realtive improvement in vision was observed after laser photocoagulation. The purpose of this report is to turn attention into retinopathy following radiation therapy around the eye in order to timely diagnose and if possible to prevent or treat this complication which threatens the vision.
