Improvement and Renovation of Urban Worn Textures with Emphasis on Citizen Participation Approach: Case Study, Tehran, Doulab Community

The purpose of this study was the understanding of Doulab worn texture and suitable strategy for its improvement and renovation. For this purpose first, with gathering related information, its current situation was discussed, then participation feasibility in this neighborhood improvement and renovation was investigated using headmen questionnaire and neighborhood worn texture final situation was analyzed using SWOT analysis and suitable strategy was extracted from SWOT analysis. Finally, the strategies to participatory improvement and renovation in this neighborhood were presented.
