Governor's tendency to Abide by the Law in the light of Nahj-u al-Balaghah

Message:
Abstract:
Many developed countries claim their tendency to abide by the law and the authority of law; their propagation media in different ways promote such a claim. Legal studies and determining those laws helping in the good management of the society for the happiness of man are matters to be examined. The man’s need of law in his social life has made the term “to abide by the law” particularly interesting. Having studied the concept and nature of law, the author goes to explicate the valid and binding laws in Imam Ali’s point of view. According to his view, general judgments of the intellect, divine laws drawn from the Qur’an and from the traditions of the holy infallible, and good customs of the past generations can be suggested as law. Governors may claim their tendency to abide by the law if they only make their best to put the law in practice and try to improve the society and totally fulfill justice in the light of law.
