The Structure of Government in Nahj-u al-Balaghah

In the field of political jurisprudence, Nahj-u al-Balaghah comes after the Qur’an and the political line of conduct of holy Prophet to propose illuminating political strategies for government and its structure thus establishing the foundations of political philosophy of Islam. Government power and guardianship as the divine rights of governance are granted by Allah to him who is an entirely manifestation of Allah.Government is the means of maintaining justice and clearing of injustice from the society. A legitimate government is the one originating from Allah from one side, whose governor is qualified, and must be embraced by the people from another side. Public acceptance helps with the efficiency and efficacy of the government.
