Data and information needed for the research have been gathered by field methods in 16th region of Tehran. Time analysis of the commitment of crimes in the region shows that most of studied crimes have occurred on weekends or during work time. Moreover, some crime centers have been determined in the area. Some of environmental and framework characteristics of such regions include the lack or shortage of informal and formal controls in crowded positions and the inappropriate balance in building usage distributions which are resulted by the disproportion between the region population needs and constructions. The study of the type and the quantity of building usages in central part of the region and crime redundancy show that most of crimes have happened near green lands, transportation paths, and storages. After analyzing the issues, the article concludes with some suggestions to control and prevent social misbehaviors in 16th region.
