Importance of religious clear-sightedness in the time of conspiracy

The question of the importance of religious clear-sightedness for passing the time of conspiracy has been addressed in both the Quran and traditions. As an intuitive power for understating the truth, Clear-sightedness is a characteristic of all prophets. This power enables man to identify all conspiracies, and to take lessons from history in order to overcome the sinister conspiracies, which are divine trials, that threaten the Islamic society. If the members of the society lack such clear-sightedness, the society will be misled. All prophets faced such trials and managed to pass the time of sinister conspiracies using their clear-sightedness. The criteria of clear-sightedness include: distinguishing the truth from the falsehood, acting based on certainty, showing courage while facing a conspiracy, considering the best interests of the society, and following the leader.
