Abstract:
One of the effects of playing is body strength. Quran considers body strength as an advantage. In addition، Imams have believed martial and endurance games to be useful in strengthening the body. Mental education is very important in the viewpoint of Quran and Imams. It therefore should be taken into account during the childhood. Children''s relations with various toys، the nature، the environment and different animals have important roles in their mental education. They would as a result be able to distinguish between bad and good during adulthood. A proper way to teach children how to control their childish behavior and angriness is to play purposeful games. Not only children''s right to play needs to be respected، they also have be encouraged to play games with moral aims and be presented with moral poets during games. Group games would lead children to be social and to learn responsibility and coordination. Quran and Imams have also emphasized on the importance of social activities.
