The buildings with irregular geometric forms in the plan are very prone to torsion at earthquake time. In this research study, the structures were designed to evaluate the behavior of irregular structures, and then response-history analyses were performed. The models presented in this work include a validation model based on the baseline article, a four-story software model with irregularities in the first and third floors heights in balanced and strong panel zone, an eight-story software model with irregularities in the first, third and fifth floors heights in balanced and strong panel zone. The results revealed the stiffness and the strength of the panel zone significantly affect the performance of steel moment frame structures. Also, the seismic performance of moment frames will be improved by considering double plates and relative displacement is better controlled. Increasing the thickness too much, however, increases the beams' deformation and the demand ratio to capacity in the beams. Observations indicated the panel zone must be reinforced to the dough joint in the beam, then in the panel zone, and finally in the column. If the resistance ratio of the panel zone to the beam is 0.8 to 1, then the panel zone will be balanced and flow simultaneously.

The aim of this study was to determine multiple recurrences after breast surgery using a random effect model. This is a cohort study in which 342 patients were evaluated after breast surgery during the period 2015 to 2020. All information of breast cancer patients was extracted from their files and their recurrence rate was evaluated and predicted based on the fragility model. The risk of multiple local recurrences and metastases increases in people under 40 years of age compared to people over 55 years of age. Also, tumor size (more than 20 mm) has a significant effect on the risk of local recurrence and metastasis in patients. In addition, patients with HER2 + have a higher risk of multiple local recurrences and metastases. The correlation between multiple local recurrences and metastasis in these patients was 0.79 in the combined model. Also, the values of fragility variance for local recurrence and metastasis were 1.1 and 7.39, respectively. The results of this study showed that patients with the same explanatory variables have different risk of metastasis. Also, the relationship between two types of metastatic and local recurrences was high in patients with breast cancer, which is of great importance in the process of diagnosis and treatment of this disease.

Using sensors and actuators as engine control mechanisms brings technical complexity to rule-based approach to diagnosis as it is difficult to establish a complete association between sensor data and the symptoms. Diagnostic evaluation of critical components in vehicle engines has only gained little attention, whereas the interdependent nature of sensors and propeller requires continuous monitoring for stability and temperature control. In this study, the Bayesian probability approach was used to provide intelligence logic with mathematical formulation for detecting overheating in vehicle engines; by providing the architectural design of the proposed system. The proposed framework was implemented using Microsoft Visual Basic.NET with integrated ActiveX Data Object (VB ADO) to experiment with the model for performance evaluation. Its usability testing and computational pattern were carried out with comparative analysis. Therefore, this study recommended that the problem domain for automobile diagnosis should be explicit about inculcating all engine-related problems other than overheating.

As you are aware, Iran is one of the 10 most vulnerable countries in the world, which suffers heavy material and human losses every year. Most of the past earthquakes in Iran have a rural nature, and the damaged and destroyed structures are generally the instruments of the floors are made of clay, stone, brick, and in terms of residence, they were single-family. After the occurrence of these earthquakes, rescue operations are carried out by self-help and with basic equipment such as shovels and pickaxes, and there is rarely a need for complex search operations with the help of advanced mechanical equipment. Unfortunately, currently, in the event of an earthquake in Each of the big earthquake-prone cities of Iran, for example, Tehran, Tabriz, Mashhad, due to the seismic vulnerability of their building structures, the dimensions of very extensive structural damage, and the number of people trapped in the debris created, will be very large, so the importance of identifying the typology It pays more attention to vulnerable structures in urban and rural areas. By identifying vulnerable structures and destroying and rebuilding them, it is possible to reduce the burden of human disasters to a great extent.

Since gears are essential in modern mechanical and industrial applications, their research is one of the most demanded areas. In various design conditions (meshing conditions and geometric sizes), where the gears are used to transmit load and motion, the two teeth of a gear can be in contact simultaneously. In this study, the additional von Mises stress created at the root of one of the teeth by force applied to the other tooth is considered. For this, the von Mises stress generated in the tooth root is calculated by first applying a force to one tooth, and then the same amount of force is applied to the second tooth, and after that, the von Mises stress in the root of the first tooth is calculated again. After the computation, the difference between the initial and final value is indicated, and the effects created by single and double contact are compared. After that, a calculation is applied to both spur and helical gears with the same geometrical parameters, and it is investigated whether double contact is more desirable for spur or helical gear from the point of view of the structural reliability of the gear tooth. Solidworks Simulation Software models each gear and von Mises stress calculation, and finally, the percentage of effects created by double contact for the helical and the spur gear is calculated.

Gears are the most significant element of mechanical systems. In this paper, Hertzian contact stress is studied which is one of the main failure causes of gears. As it is known, the rotation motion of meshing gears as a result of torque creates repeated contact stress on the surface of the teeth, and this stress creates fatigue stress in the contact area of the material over a certain period of time. This type of stress is considered as one of the most serious problems of gears, and its optimization is important for increasing the gears’ stability. There are many factors affecting contact stress. In this study, as the most important factors, the contact stress values were measured which modify with the varying values of temperature. Taking into account that contact stress is a theoretical value and cannot be measured practically, the analysis was done by the Finite Element Analysis method using Solidworks simulation software. The contact stress values are measured by means of two gears modeled by applying a high mesh density in contact with each other. The process is repeated in several stages, and the teeth surfaces of each gear in contact are exposed to different temperatures.
