This discourse presents the biography of Mir Sayyid Baha al Din Mohammad Hosayni Mokhtari Na’ini (1080 – 1140 AH), one of the scholars of the city of Nain. The author discusses the Mokhtari family, its prominent figures, scholars, and mentors such as Muhammad Baqir Majlisi, Fadil Hindi, and Hurr Amili, as well as his disciples like his sons Sayyid Mohammad Shafi’e and Sayyid Nasser al-Din. It also presents the words of great scholars about him and introduces more than forty of his books on jurisprudence, principles of jurisprudence, literature, hadith, and beliefs, some of which remain unpublished.

This article gives a short biography of Afzal al-Din Hasan ibn Ali Mahabadi 505-595 A.H.)، a 6th century Shia scholar، who was born in Mahabad، a) suburb of Ardestan، Isfahan. After introducing a few old and new figures of Mahabad، the author identifies Mahabadi's grandfather and father، and then shows the stages of his education in Kashan، Qom، and Rey، his students، scientific scope، and contemporary and companionable figures. It continues by introducing his written works in the fields of hadith، literature، and theology، such as a Commentary on Nahj al-Balagha، Sharh al-Shahab، Tanzih al-Haq an Shubahi al-Khalq (Pyrifying the right from the objections and doubts)، Sharh al-Luma’، and reading the famous namesakes and mentioning what the great scholars have said about him.

This article is about Mullah Mohammad Sadegh Ardestani (1054-1134 AH), his life, thoughts, record, works and his children and offspring. The author explains about the history and geography of Ardestan, Hakim Ardestani’s family, biography and list of Shia works of Jamaluddin Ardestani in the ninth century, masters, students, contemporaries and the famous figures of the same name Mohammad Sadegh Ardestani. Among his works, twenty mainly philosophical ones are introduced. The author also expresses the views of historians and thinkers about him and discusses his attribution to Sufism and his relationship with Sultan Hussein Safavi.
