Typology of false claimants of being the Imam of the time in the age of short absence Gheibate-Soghra (A critical review on Ahmad al Kateb views)
When examining the role of law in the age of Short Absence (Soghra), the issue of traitors and agents of the false claims law becomes important. As false claimants were among the well-known, respected and influential people, their opposition could have rifted the Imamieh Shiites.The reviewed author Ahmed Alkateb also looks at the claims in this regard, but he has sought to respond to the allegations in a way that their false claims and resistance to the ruling people of the time as if it shows the falsehood of the principle of believing in savior and concluded that there exists no Imam of the time. This paper aims to analyze historical data, and familiarise the reader begins with political environment, culture and the situation of those times and clarify the role of such situations in the emergence of false claims, and the incidence of claims and objections of false claimants. Then, the typology of these claims and their behavior is shown alongside the deficiency of their claims and objections to the principle that seriously challenged the position of Imamate. This article has also responded to the claims of Ahmad Alkateb with a closer look at his claims in this regard.
