The role of Baha ism in Opposition with the Islamic Republic of Iran in the Field of Soft War

The present article seeks to analyze the role and the positions of Baha’ism in opposition with Islamic Republic of Iran in the field of soft war. The methodology used in this research is document analysis and the accessible sources and references related to this subject have been closely studied. The main question addressed in this article is what are the cultural performance and the positions of Baha’ism in opposition with Islamic Republic of Iran in the field of soft war? The results of the study show that Baha’ism has opposed the Islamic Revolution and the establishment of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and it has always tried to oppose it in political, economic and cultural fields. The opposition of Baha’ism with the Islamic Republic of Iran has been quite evident in the cultural field; for this purpose it has utilized different media in propagandist and cultural issues. Feigning being oppressed, canvassing support from International communities, cooperation with foreign media, widespread cultural propaganda, utilizing virtual space, and the cultural activities of Baha’i refugees formerly supported by Shah regime, are among the main evidences of the soft war of this sect against the Islamic Republic of Iran in the last two decades. These activities evidently reached its zenith in the Iranian 2002presidential elections and its ensuing events.
