Ignorance makes each man doubt his own wisdom A comparative study of iratinality contents, longing and foolishness in the didactic literature of the Persian and Arabic

The aim of authors of this paper is to introduce some of the common conents of the Persian and Arabic literature under the shadow of didactic literature. The basis of the work is an Arabic collection named “Majmooat ol maani”. The author of this collection is Unknown but Abdossalam Mohammad Haroon has rectified it. The 6th part of this book contains many distiches about the iiratinality, foolishness and longing of man.In this paper, after translating each distich, the authors have brought anecdotes, distiches and verses from Persian and Arabic literature to show the similarity of thoughts, words, contents and sometimes the paradox of contents have been invetigated.
