The Study on Iranian Higher Education Status in South West Asia

According to necessity of quantitative and qualitative development in all dimensions and in higher education study on higher education quality has a notable importance as a base of development. The Importance of National Document of development goals and also necessity of achieving development and efficiency in higher education is needed to research continuously. We tried in this paper by using documentary method to cognition of Iran’s higher education status beyond South West Asian countries. Research findings showed the superior status of Iran in little indicators in Studying area. However in some higher education indicators our country has a good situation. But in more indicators we have not a safe situation according to National Development Document. Conclusion showed the Iran’s low speed in going to achieve superior status of Asia South West Area in higher education.
