Comparison of Social Support and Irrational Belief in Traumatic Events of Electrical Distribution Company

The research purpose is to draw a comparison of social support and irrational belief in traumatic work events of electrical distribution company located in Khorasan. Method
A sample of 90 subjects that was randomly selected was assigned to three 30-individual groups divided by having received or not having received the electric shock. The research tools included Perceived Social Support –Family Scale (PSS-FA) Questionnaire and Jones Irrational Belief''s Questionnaire. ANOVA and Kruskal-Wallis tests were used to analyze the data. Results
Findings report no between-group difference in terms of social support، irrational beliefs and education. However، the age factor differed significantly between groups. Overall، the possible influence of social support and irrational beliefs in the accident was not observed that could be due to the small statistical population or other limitations of the research.Keywords:
