Study on the Relationship between the Housing Conditions and Crime commission in the Future (A Case Study of Arak City)

The relationship between housing and crime could be discussed with two aspects of crime prevention:1-The relationship between the house of victim and crime that could be categorized in “situational prevention” and is discussed in environmental planning.2- The relationship between the house of criminal and the crime that could be categoriazed in “social prevention” and is discussed in this paper. It is assumed that the person’s house as a part of inevitable environment could affect his/her criminal and total behavior. Inappropriate house may cause or activate some factors affecting the crime. For instance, imitative apartments, ugly and dirty houses with their discouragement, the lack of a unit family, the effect of bad mates, and the lack of good air condition could be effective in crime commission. In addition, bad house inspires a sense of poverty in person and his/her tendency for improving the situation causes such behaviors.
