Mostadrik Elmul Rijal Al- Hadith

Elmul Rijal is of the greatest and the most famous branches of tradition sciences. Hadith is the most significant source of religious teachings after holy Quran. The narrators of hadith played a significant role in saving this asset. Some scholars or authors collected narrator's names and their biographies in separated books. Mojam al-Hadith by Ayatollah Khoei is one of them. Allameh Namazi Shahroodi collected 18846 narrators in his Mostadrakat Rijal al-Hadith. In this book, he wrote about the importance of this science and the need of religious scholars to it, about the offspring of holy Prophet and infallible Imams, about their demise, about ill-famed ones in traditions, and the authenticity of "kotob Arbae" (4 books) clarifying misconceptions about them.
