Reflection of Simile in Childrens Poem The Case Study of Thirty Books of Childrens Poem

One of the characteristics of a good poem is ornamenting it with literary figures. Simile is one of these figures that are found not only in formal Persian poems, but also in children spoems. Since children sworld is the world of imagination, simile can be used to take them to that world. But, not every simile can be suitable for children so a poet, who is familiar with children s spirits, can register his/her thoughts in children spoem. In this paper, in addition to analyzing thirty books of children spoem and introducing similes in them, different kinds of simile in children s poem are investigated. Each kind of simile and their place in children s poem are also discussed.
