Development of Media Literacy as the Most Important Audience-Oriented Strategy in Media and Cultural Organizations in Iran

This article examinesthe education of media literacy as a Practical and realistic approach which may utilize for media and cultural organizations and tries to introduce the meaning of media literacy as well as the urgency of performance of educational planning in Iran. In addition this paper tries to investigate some primarily discussions. Some issues has been considered in this paper such as kids the unprotected audiences then the urgency for educating media literacy have been dedicated to the kids. This paper have been conducted by documentary method as well as we have tried to indicate some projects and planes which have been used for educating media literacy in some countries. The results emphasize that there is a relationship between the cultural,social, political and even economic context in every country andthe performance as well as development of educating media literacy in that country. So it is significant to promote and perform the education planning for media literacy in Iran according to its context. Finally some of the main issues which should be considered in performing the media literacy planning have been raised as some main questions in this paper.
