The outsourcing As a Missing Link in the Press Organizations in Iran

If media organizations want to be effective in the market they need to keep and get strategy of main competences (specialized knowledge and skills that help the organization to be competitive). Outsourcing as a strategic and serious solution, develop the organization as well as improve Productivity by downsizing, also it will develop thestrength ofthe organization and it will help the organization to achieve strategy of main competences in the global market. Outsourcing is the act of one company contracting with another company to provide services in a long-term contract. This article is trying to investigate the outsourcing in the global press organizations. Moreover this concept has been investigated by library and in- depth interview methods. The results have indicated that outsourcing such as printing, distribution and advertising among all of the sample organizations have had positive effects. Except printing, other text production activitiesand the activities related to making acontract with correspondents have shown negative effects in efficiency and effectivenessin all organizations. However outsourcing in some activities like sending SMS to the audiences,layout andzinc have had negative effects in some organizations but positive effects in other organizations.
