Modern America foreign diplomacy and its effects on regional policy of Pahlavi II

Nixon Doctrine, known as partnership policy was proposed in 1970s as new policy of the U.S. The present article aims at studying Nixon Doctrine, its background, and effects on Pahlavi II foreign and regional policies during the regime's final days of reign. Accordingly, influenced by the Doctrine, Iran rapidly became one of the outstanding military powers of the region. Thus the Iranian monarchy in line with hidden and open policies of The U.S statesmen undertook military and political activities and interactions in the Persian Gulf Region.
