A Comparative Study of Hafiz and Hooshang Ebtehaj's (H.A. Sayeh) Poems

Concerning Ebtehaj's poem, one can simply see the effect of Hafiz's poem on his poem which is going to be revealed by the present study. By studying Hafiz and Ebtehaj's poems the researchers, at first presented a summary of Ebtehaj's life and the way his poems have been affected by Hafiz's poems according to critic's views. Then in a structural division, the commonality between Hafiz and Sayeh is stated in five parts: compounds, interpretations, quotations, rhymes and theme. This dividing is composed of three aspects including" lexicon, phonetic applications and common themes. Lexical borrowing in compounds, interpretations and quotation fields are also studied. Musical application in the fields of rhyme, rhythm, and common themes is studied in line with content. Sayeh with widespread usage of Hafiz's lexicons has contributed to his aesthetic aspect of his poems.
