The survey of effectiveness of Psychological empowerment training on work adjustment and vitality among nurses in Apadana Hospital of Ahwaz

Abstract:
The purpose of this research was examining the effect of psychological empowerment training on work adjustment and vitality on nurses in hospital of Apadana of Ahwaz. The methodology of this research was quasi experimental with per-test and post-test design and control group. Statistical population were nurses in hospital of Apadana of Ahwaz. For selecting statistical sample 50 nurses who were accidental were selected and distribute in experimental and control groups and the main hypotheses of this research were as follow: psychological empowerment training improves work adjustment and vitality on nurses. The dependent variables included work adjustment and vitality which were assessed by work adjustment instrument (W.A.I), and vitality scale (V.S). The independent variable was psychological empowerment that was conducted to case group in 10 sessions. The results were analyzed by covarianc analysis by sposs-18 software. The result obtained from the data showed that psychological empowerment improved work adjustment and vitality.
