The Role of Police Women in Some Countries

This article focuses on the presence of women in police force in the world and in general explores the role and activities of women in police profession, existing challenges and obstacles, missions, way of recruiting, organizational structure and the advantages of their presence in the police force.Increasing the number of women in police organizations has led to their extensive presence in the society and from a qualitative point of view it has caused vulnerable women of the society to trust the police more and to cooperate with it whenever deemed necessary. Presence of the women in police activities has been effective some countries, and developing the specialized women police sections in this organizations will prepare the ground for their extensive presence in police activities.
