Inventory of Landslide as an Environmental Hazard and Investigation of its Impact on Fores (Case Study: Chafrood District; Gilan Province)

Forest roads are constructed at the mountainous area create many hazards in unstable nature for example، landslide. In this study we survey the rate of soil displacement and evaluated in two pathways of first district of CHAFROOD watershed (parcels 105 and 107). First we survey sliding area beside the road then sample some places. Some points are taken in the places and leveling them. Leveling was done in three periods after seasonal rainfall. The rate of landslide was studied based on soil type and technical characteristics of the roads. The most amount of landslide in parcels 105 and 107 were determined 144cm and 236 cm respectively، during nine months. Cut slope and fill slope lead to cutting the runoff paths and flowing it on the road surface then make unstable roadside.
