Islamicization of Science in Rebuilding Islamic Civilization

The aim of the present paper is to reveal the importance of islamicization of science and the related functions. The author of the article then refers to the decadence of science and civilization among Muslims and suggests redefining the Islamic civilization and scientific development as the principal solution in reconstructing Islamic civilization. The method of the article is descriptive and document analysis. The results of the survey is derived from Muslims experiences and studies on Islamicization of science and developing Islamic civilization. referring to Islam rule in formation of science and Islamic civilization in golden era, indicates that although some parts of sciences are derived from other civilizations but- by the help of Islamic teachings and creativity –they have redefined the sciences and produced Islamic sciences. The mentioned process is considered as the fundamental step in development of Islamic great civilization. The author of the research concludes that reconstructing the Islamic civilization is not equal to just gaining the current western sciences. In other word importing the western productions and technology in order to modernize the Islamic world is not the solution and even leads to astray and crisis.(like most of the Islamic countries). the paper then highlights the importance of Islamic world view and Muslims as to have basic rules in finding solution for Islamic countries crisis on islamicization of sciences.
