Factors Affecting the Successful Management Of Incubators in Iran

This study aimed at identifying and analyzing the factors affecting the successful management of science and technology incubators leading to introduce a casual model. Participants included 147 staff managers, specialists and the company managers who were working at 16 science and technology incubators. In order to collect data, a questionnaire was used. Due to the study’s research aim, the path analysis was used. Therefore, the effect of independent exogenous variable (culture) and independent endogenous variables (environment, human resource, supports and structure) and direct and indirect effects of these variables on the dependent endogenous variable (management) was examined. The findings have shown that whereas culture doesnt have significant effect on management, but it has significant effect on environment and supports. On the other hand, human resource and structure have significant effect on management. This is while environment doesnt have significant effect on management. In addition to these, working environment has significant effect on other human resource and structure.
