Investigating the relationship between the features of a learning organization and the effectiveness of employees at the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs
The main aim of this article is to examine the relationship between the features of a learner organization and the effectiveness of employees at the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs “before it’s merging with the Ministry of Cooperation, Labor and Social Welfare". The population of this study consisted of the staff of the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs before its Union with the Ministry of Cooperation, Labor and Social Welfare. The participants were 663 at the start of the research; however, using simple random sampling, finally, 243 people were selected. A researcher-developed questionnaire was used as a data collection instrument. Its validity was confirmed by university teachers, experts, authorities, managers and specialists. Using Pearson correlation test, the collected data was analyzed: based on the results, four of the hypotheses were confirmed and the other hypotheses was rejected. The results suggested that there was a significant relationship between personal skills, common aspiration, systemic thought and mental pattern of employees with their effectiveness. The main hypotheses testing also confirmed the relationship between the characteristics of learner organization and the effectiveness of employees in the aforesaid organization. Finally, some suggestions are offered for improving the level of employee's effectiveness in order to spread the concepts of learning organization and promoting its supporting culture.
