Threat Balance Theory: Structural Reasons for Formation and Spread of Political Islam and Islamic Resistance in the Middle East

This research attempts to apply the theory of threat balance about the structural reasons of formation of Islamic resistance and spread of political Islam by examining the performance of international system. the question is: how can we use the theory of Stephen Walt on the Islamic resistance front in the hegemonic sphere of the international system? The hegemonic international system is very violent and threatening against the Middle East and North African countries. The main object of this research is to find out the reasons behind the existence and spread of Islamic groups.
