Study of Human Sensitivity of Tehran Metropolis Against Air Pollution With Combination of GIS & AHP

Abstract:
Nowadays most of the large cities, particularly large cities of the developing countries, suffer from daily increasing air pollution Tehran is no exception and it is in this capital that air pollution has resulted heavy material and human losses. Evidently, many projects have been implemented and repeated researches have bear carried out, but the question is that so far no areal divisions have made to indicate the extent of sensibility of facing human projects planned for the future. It is because of the great importance of such an aerial that the present research is undertaken in an analyticalapplicable method based on a combination of GIS and AHP and taking into account standards such as children between 0 and 14, old people after 60,health centers, number of families,population,settlements,hospitals,nurseries,clubs,schools etc.in connection with human sensibility against air pollution in the Tehran. As a result of the study several maps were presented to define the human sensitivity of various parts of city in facing air pollution.
