Integration of collaborative management and fuzzy systems for evaluating of student's educational performance
The aim of this paper was to evaluate the of students’ educational performance intended for determining their educational progress in achieving educational goals. The evaluation of educational performance is more qualitative than quantitative. In this research، the midterm، quizzes and the final exam scores with different coefficients variables were considered as fuzzy variables. Subsequently، a set of fuzzy logics was developed based on the faculty experts’ opinion. The triple scores were assumed as input variables and final scores considered as output variables. To calculate the final scores، along the three scores، the collaborative management theory was used as a knowledge base and unification rules for output variables. The statistical population was engineering faculty members in public universities. Using Cochran’s method، a total of 150 individuals- with at least three years of experiences- was randomly selected from the population. A questionnaire and interviews were used to collect data. The faculty experts’ point of view was used for validation. To analysis the evaluation method، 250 different study groups were utilizes. The examination scores divided into two groups of classical and fuzzy approach. And the results were validated using T-test with 87% of accuracy. The results show that the increment in the accuracy and performance of the new model is in the level of 95%.
