Investigation of Relationship between Social Capital and the Rate of Suicide in the Country's Provinces

Today many social sciences experts understood the importance of the communication networks among human beings and the way of their interactions with each others. They consider these networks in examination of social problems like suicide. In this study, secondary analysis is used for investigation of the relationship between suicide and social capital in the country in 1379. The results showed that variables of generalized structural social capital (the rate of participation in voluntary associations and groups) and institutional - structural social capital (participation in the elections) have negative relationship with the suicide rate but the other dimensions of social capital and total social capital have not significant relationship with suicide.
