Considering the influence of the carbon fibers on characteristics of asphalt mixes

Engineers and researchers always try to improve the performance of asphalt mixes. Traffic overloading cause to create the tension stresses at pavement layer and if these tensions become more than permissible tension cause to crack failure. One of the methods for improving the efficiency of pavements is the changes in characteristics of bituminous. Admission the fiber to asphalt cause to increase the flexibility in front of fatigue. Also surcharge the fibers to asphalt mixes leads to reduce the voids and increase the resistance to deflections and deformations. At this paper we have tried to modify the asphalt specifications with carbon fibers.
