Impact of Urban Development on Security: Emphasizing Southern Khorasan

Security, the first duty of governments and the number one citizen's expectations from governments, has got different and widespread dimensions. The security impressibility from economy, culture, industry and population from one side and it's effect on all development branches and human life from other side give it a remarkable role. In today's world, urban and rural development policies become aligned to improve cultural, economical, social and political situations which in turn will lead to improvement in all aspects of people's life equals with multilateral security. Therefore, considering urban development and widespread social insecurity in border cities, studying security and socio-economical development in the same line becomes important. Because of geographical situation and environmental differences, border cities are more secluded than other areas in the country although they need special attention. This research following analytical-descriptive method, by library studies tries to perform spatial analysis about the relationship between feeling security in urban development and approaches to create urban security in border province, Southern Khorasan.
