The study of the impact of job characteristics and quality of labor life on the behavior of organizational citizenship

This study aims to investigate the impact of job characteristics and the quality of working life on the behavior of organizational citizenship. This paper is an applied investigation by purpose, and a survey in terms of data collection method and correlational regarding data analysis. After studying the background of the subject matter and existing patterns about job aspects, working life quality and the behavior of organizational citizenship and developing a conceptual framework, a conceptual model and research hypotheses were formulated. To measure the variables, a researcher-made questionnaire was employed. The sample population in this investigation consisted of 103 employees working at the office for educational ministry of Bandar Abbas branch who were selected using simple random sampling technique. Research findings suggest that there is a meaningful & direct relationship between job characteristics, quality of work life and on the behavior of organizational citizenship. Finally, based on the results, some suggestions were made for the organization under study and future researchers.
