Message:
Abstract:
The sublime position of Bidel-e-Dehlavi in theosophical literature and deep and exquisite concepts in his poems worth being considered. This study seeks to explore Bidel-e-Dehlavi’s viewpoint upon man’s position in this world and the source of creation by using library data and analytic-descriptive approach. Mirza Abdulgadr Dehlavi is a Vahdat –e Vujudi (pantheist) Sufi and poet and was influenced by Ibn Arabi. He has proposed prominent tenets such as pantheism، Manifestation of Allah، and the special place of Love which he believes is the source of creation of man and the universe. According to Bidel the base of Tasawwof is Unity of Being. He holds that all the varieties of the world spring from Unity. However، He recognizes the varieties of the world as well and asserts that one can attain unity by passing through those varieties. In order to justify Unity of Being، he uses allegories such as illusion، Mirror، sea and set of numbers. Like all other Suffis، Bidel believes that the mere purpose of Creation is the perfect man. In his view، human being is a mirror of God. According to him، prophet of Islam is the perfect Man and the world was created because of his being.
