Security and Job market; Considering Southern Khorasan Province Cities

Although there have been a great effort in analysing the country’s development level in the recent years, still there is a lack of investigation about security development level, especially its relationship with market development. Therefore, the present study has been conducted to determine the relationship between security development level and b market with an emphasis on Southern Khorasan province cities. Robbery decimal indexes, including stealing from governmental places, houses, stores, cars and its accessories, bicycle and motorcycles, livestock and others, and those who were arrested due to drug trafficking have been applied in this study as indexes for determining security. The indexes for employees based on the governmental, privates and cooperation, employees based on their literacy level, age, announced job opportunities, registered job applicants and employees introduced by job finding centres have been regarded as job market indexes. Factor analysis has been used to compile them. Results of this study, conducted in 2008, show that there is difference between security development level and job market in different southern Khorasan cities and it also approves that the security level of the province is affected by job market.
