Qom in Literature and Popular Culture

Qom has not been significantly present in the poets’ poems; however, based on the poems, sentences and proverbs in which the name of this city is mentioned, one can perceive to what extent and in which era this city has drawn the poets and people’s attention. In the present study, the author has tried to explore the symbol of Qom in certain literary texts, proverbs, and the poems common among folk.
