A Study of the Effectiveness of Transactional Analysis with Marital Group TherapyMethod on Enhancement of Martial Adjustment among Married Students at Islamic Azad University-Islamshar branch

The goal of the present research was studying the effectiveness of Transactional Analysis using martial group therapy method in enhancing martial adjustment. The population of research consisted of all married students at Islamic Azad University, Islamshahr branch. The sample consisted of 16 couples selected through multistage random sampling (16 persons assigned to experimental group and 16 persons assigned to control group). Following pre-test, Transactional Analysis was conducted for 10 sessions on experimental group. After post-test, analysis of convariance was used to analyze the data. The finding indicated that Transactional Analysis had significant effects on enhancemetonall dimensions of the martial adjustment.
