A Pathology on Methods of Teaching the Islamic Education lesson; a qualitative research approach in terms of education professors and graduate students of Tehran University

This study has been made to identify the damages of Methods in Teaching the Islamic education in graduate courses in Tehran. This research is qualitative and used semi-structured interviews and purposive sampling for data collection. The number of respondents is 29 people. Interviewees were selected among students of Islamic education lessons which have been passed this lesson or passing the course. Research questions include: What are the harms of Methods which used for teaching the Islamic Education lesson? What is the right solution to fix these damages? What are the similarities and differences between the views of the interviewees? For data collection, the interviews were recorded on audio tape and then analyze data from a descriptive approach to use and interpret the data and interview results which are obtained. Most damages identified in this study include lack of appropriate content and textbooks, inappropriate content to life for students, many teachers not entering both the fields of religion and education, lack of competence of teachers to have science and faith, not being used lesson plan for teaching.
