Organic contamination of groundwater in Tehran

One of the most important groundwater sources of drinking water in Tehran. Because dehydration years Tehran 50% water is supplied through the same waters، their quality is important. In this research، the location of wells Tehran، considering their appropriate positions near the fuel supply in 86 selected sampling was done. Measuring organic pollutants in groundwater that Tehran was determined concentrations of total organic carbon (TOC) at all sampling wells was exceeded in the range 6. 5 to 12. 5 mg per liter was modified. With hydrocarbon contamination of the samples revealed that most wells tested are free of this contamination. Nitrate levels measured in selected wells and the highest value of about 133 milligrams per liter was calculated. According to the data synchronization between TOC، nitrate، and also review the results of any device that GC_MS hydrocarbon contamination in most samples did not show the presence of sewage source for organic contamination in groundwater was reported Tehran. However، in two samples taken from different regions Yaftabad and Sydkhndan behavior was observed which indicates leakage of gasoline storage tanks Fuel is upstream of the two places. Finally، the solutions in order to remove the pollution control is proposed.
