Various mobile phone among students

For a deeper understanding of the social phenomena and new technologies, firstly it is necessary to know all of their aspects. This study examines the implications of the use of the mobile phone and the aspects of the mobile phone in Geser's (2004) view. He mentioned mobile usage rate, scope and extent of use and the variety of usage as the dimensions of cell phone use. This study is conducted in a survey research method. The statistical population consisted 42426 students all studying in Yazd's universities. Kerjcie and Morgan (1970) table was used to determine the sample size and regarding the dispersion of statistical population, stratified random sampling was used and 380 students were selected as the study sample.In this study we used different universities of Yazd. The results show that the use of mobile phones among university students is almost identical and the aspects of the mobile phone (scope and extent of use and the variety of usage) with gender, age, education and marital status did not show a strong relationship. And rational use of the mobile phone has become widespread.
