Social factors associated with emerging tendency toward new mysticisms among youth

This study seeks to explore the emerging tendency of young people to join in new mysticisms and explain some of the social factors associated with these trends. Applying the survey method and the Questionnaire to implement data collection, the 400 students through a two-stage were selected as respondents in random. The results show that more than 18 percent of students have a strong tendency towards new mysticisms, while only less than 10 percent of them have a weak tendency towards these mysticisms and the rest (72%) of the average has middle orientation. The data show that the highest levels of spiritual trends emerge among young students, especially the Lour (lor) and Turkish ethnicity, and also some higher social classes. In addition, gender differences are also reported in mysticisms emerging trends that based on its greater tendency to mysticism for girls. Finally, it was found that young people who have a higher religious adherence and ethnic identity, less have inclined to mystical sects.Based on these findings we suggest that besides awareness to the youth about spiritual sects we should pay special attention on strengthen and consolidate of the foundation of religious ethnic identity of youth.
