Revamping of the toluene to Benzene unite in Isfahan petrochemical into benzene to cyclohexane process

Toluene to benzene unit (THDA unit) in Isfahan petrochemical has stopped working because process of this unit was not economical. Due to economical production of cyclohexane، close operating condition، close gas circulating rate and type of equipment at these processes discussed، research showed that it is capable toluene to benzene process to replacing benzene to cyclohexane process. At this path replacement of two process equipment were investigated to help conceptual design method. Results of this article are simulation، design، optimization and energy integration of new process for cyclohexane production that we will use equipment of THDA unite for this design of new process
