Identifying the Key Elements of Successions Community of Practices in Educational Organization: A case study

Nowadays, not only business organizations, but educational organizations interested in the issue of community of practice. A community of practice is a community of individuals who carry their experiences through informal relationships. In recent years, many researchers have been working on their research into community of practice, and based on their research objectives, a set of factors to be considered as success factors of community of practice. The present study is an attempt to review the most recent studies, categorize the success factors affecting community of practice and identify the most important factors. This research focuses on universities as educational organizations those continuously facing on knowledge creation. The findings show that among success factors of community of practice, structural factors, optimizing interactions, suitable infrastructure, support tools, policies and organizational support have the greatest impacts on the success of community of practice.
